Specialist Surgeon

We are now seeking a board-certified or residency-trained surgeon for a permanent position.

As a pioneer in Scandinavian veterinary care, we're not just meeting standards — we're establishing new ones. Our hospital, distinguished as one of the few in the region to offer 24/7 emergency services, is proud to be Scandinavia's second to provide specialist and emergency care exclusively. We prefer collaboration over competition and see ourselves as a continuation of the local family vet.

Since our launch in 2024, AWAKE Helsingborg has grown from a core team to around 60 devoted professionals, including specialist in surgery, neurology and ophthalmology, emergency vets, technicians, and a fantastic support team.

We offer several advanced diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities including a CT scanner, fluoroscopy, advanced x-ray unit, abdominal and cardio ultrasound, laparoscopy and thoracoscopy surgery as well as all other flexible and rigid endoscopy. We are of course equipped for interventional procedures (IR/IE) and we have arthroscopy and a large variety of orthopedic tools and implants as well as neuro surgery equipment. We are also building our MRI department as we speak. We have a diagnostic laboratory in-house.
