Rotating internship

We are now accepting applications for our one year rotating internship, starting September 2025.
The program aims to give you a flying start in your career as a small animal vet, covering the areas of Emergency and critical care, Internal medicine, Surgery, Diagnostic imaging, laboratory medicine and Rehabilitation.
”This rotating internship provides the strong clinical experience and didactic training necessary for future success as independent veterinarians.
The objectives of AWAKE’s internship program are to enhance the interns’ clinical, diagnostic, problem-solving, and technical skills. Interns participate in primary patient care, daily rounds and shadowing of specialty clinicians. Attendance and participation at regularly scheduled lectures, seminars, journal clubs, and clinical rounds are required and an integral part of the internship program. We will provide you with access to current literature. Each intern is expected to prepare and present two morbidity and mortality rounds as well as lead four journal clubs.”
